Fry and Laurie take it upon themselves to entertain the audience by featuring two TV critics who mercilessly mock the show. Among the guests are a lawyer fixated on lesbian themes, a disgruntled English teacher, and a young couple who opt for a baptism as a business strategy, all of which offer ample material for the critics' self-indulgent commentary. To top it off, Laurie shares his personal favorite sketch, while Fry joins in to mark the occasion of Swiss week with enthusiasm.
