In Louisville, Detective Rick Arnold is deeply affected when he discovers that the latest murder victim is the brother of a close friend. To uncover the truth and find the killer, Arnold must sift through a web of deception, distinguishing between real identities and false ones. Meanwhile, in Harris County, a well-liked teenager is shot on a quiet street.
