Gene fantasizes about purchasing his own island, where he can establish his own set of rules, dubbing it "Genetopia." Meanwhile, while Gene is preoccupied, Shannon decides to accompany Tracy to a speed dating event. Tracy quickly discovers that the guy she believes she has a connection with is actually more interested in Shannon, who, despite being "happily unmarried," becomes the center of his attention.
