After Locke brings Boone back to the caves, Jack rushes to care for Boone's serious injuries. Amid the chaos, Locke quietly withdraws to confront his feelings of guilt about the situation. At the same time, Claire unexpectedly goes into labor while she is alone in the depths of the forest.
