After Jerry discovers a penny valued at fifty cents, Lucy and Viv decide to withdraw 2,000 pennies from the bank to sift through, hoping to uncover a rare one worth $16.50. However, when Lucy accidentally drops this valuable penny into a storm drain, the trio dons workmen disguises and ventures into the sewer system to track it down.
