On November 24, 2016, Florence Henderson, famously known for her role as Carol Brady on The Brady Bunch, passed away at the age of 82 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where she had been admitted just a day earlier. Her manager, Kayla Pressman, confirmed that the cause of death was heart failure. Just three days prior, Henderson had been present at a Dancing with the Stars recording to cheer on her friend and former on-screen daughter, Maureen McCormick, who was competing.
