As Mike and Sally gear up for their upcoming wedding, things take a chaotic turn when Sally's mother unexpectedly shows up two months ahead of schedule, taking charge of the wedding plans. Overwhelmed by the long list of tasks she assigns him, Mike finds his mind wandering. He and Sally begin to fantasize about the various traditions from different cultures regarding how couples are chosen for marriage.
