Her holiday spirit has led her to the brink of financial ruin and the potential loss of her cluttered home. Meanwhile, Vivian struggles to keep custody of her grandsons, as her hoarded residence in Mesilla, New Mexico, puts her at risk of losing them to Child Protective Services.
