Belle seeks Rumplestiltskin's help to shield their child from Hades, but they clash over the use of dark magic, as Belle insists he must not resort to evil methods. Meanwhile, Hades clandestinely meets with Gaston in the Underworld, urging him to take revenge on Rumplestiltskin. As the heroes search for a way to confront Hades, Emma experiences a chilling nightmare that starts to materialize. In flashbacks, Belle and Gaston share their first encounter, but their budding romance is abruptly interrupted on the brink of the Ogre wars.
