To gain the trust of the Queens of Darkness and act as a spy for the heroes, Regina has to demonstrate her readiness to embrace darker methods once more. Meanwhile, Emma, David, and Mary Margaret work frantically to monitor their undercover agent’s activities. Hook seeks an unexpected favor from Belle, while Henry continues to advance in his quest to find the Author. In a flashback to Fairy Tale Land, Regina forms a friendship with Maleficent and assists her in reigniting her once-faded magic.
