Moondial (1988)

A young girl named Minty is sent to stay with her aunt after her mother is hurt in a car crash. While exploring the grounds of a nearby manor, she discovers a moondial that lets her travel through time. There, she meets Tom, a boy from the Victorian era, and Sarah, who lives even further in the past. Minty becomes determined to rescue them from their sorrowful fates. Filmed on location with dreamlike visuals, the 1988 BBC serial remains a nostalgic favorite. The cast includes Valerie Lush, Arthur Hewlett, and Jacqueline Pearce in a dual role.
