S1E3 Egypt to Oman

Simon Reeve continues his remarkable expedition around the globe, tracing the Tropic of Cancer, the northernmost boundary of the tropics. He picks up the trail in Egypt, journeying through Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Oman. In southern Egypt, near the historic Abu Simbel temple, he encounters Nubians fighting to preserve their cultural identity in the wake of the Nile's damming and explores the stunning coral reefs of the Red Sea. In Saudi Arabia, Simon races with the Jeddah Boyz, while in Dubai, he meets construction workers grappling with the economic slump. He also witnesses baby green giant turtles embarking on their own journeys as they make their way to the Arabian Sea from Oman's shores.
