John-Boy is working on a piece about a female wing-walker showcasing her talents at the county fair. He extends an invitation for her to stay with the Walton family. Meanwhile, Jim Bob quickly falls head over heels for the daring aviator. In another turn of events, Maude Gormley decides to gift Myrtle the goat to the Waltons, adding a new twist to their lives.
