Marty steps into the shoes of his forebear, pitcher Pee Wee McFly, in a bid to secure victory for his team in a crucial 1897 Pennant game. However, he faces a formidable opponent in the form of the ruthless gangster Diamond Jim Tannen, who has his own agenda and is determined to see Pee Wee fail.
