Davey, an orphaned Yute whom Ben has taken under his wing and who has been working as a ranch hand at the Ponderosa, finds himself falling for a fellow Yute. However, jealousy from another young man over their growing romance leads to tragic consequences when he commits murder, putting Ben’s efforts to secure a treaty between the white settlers and the Yutes at risk.
