S1E11 The Truckee Strip

For years, Luther Bishop and Ben Cartwright have been embroiled in a bitter land conflict over a small piece of land known as the Truckee Strip. One of Bishop's disgruntled workers seeks to reignite the feud while also pursuing Bishop's beautiful daughter, Amy. Meanwhile, Joe Cartwright meets and falls for Amy, despite the ongoing rivalry, and the couple dreams of marriage. Just as it seems the feud might be resolved through their union, Bishop's employee lashes out at Amy, forcing Joe to step in and protect her.
