In the first part, Ian Dunross, a trading-firm executive portrayed by Pierce Brosnan, approaches American businessman Linc Bartlett, played by Ben Masters, for financial support. Bartlett, a corporate raider, has his ambitions set on taking over Dunross's Noble House. The episode also features Deborah Raffin as Casey Tcholok, John Rhys-Davies as Quillan Gornt, and Julia Nickson as Orlanda Ramos.
