Zoe decides to enter a gumbo contest, hoping to finally feel like she belongs in Bluebell. Meanwhile, Lavon develops feelings for both Zoe and Brick's new receptionist, which doesn’t sit well with Lemon. In the midst of all this, Zoe and Brick find themselves needing to set aside their disagreements to help save a life.
