After a setback in Sydney, struggling singer Eli makes his way back to Adelaide, hoping for some rest in his childhood bed. However, he finds his sister Emma already there, and young Kitty insists on giving him some rather dubious clothing. To top it off, their mother brings unexpected news regarding the family home, complicating Eli's desire for a peaceful retreat.
