Title: Thelma's Scholarship Plot: Thelma is presented with an opportunity to secure a scholarship to a prestigious boarding school in Michigan. Before she learns the results, an arrogant girl from a sorority approaches her, hoping to recruit her. It soon becomes evident that their interest in Thelma is superficial, rooted solely in her race rather than her talents or character.
