S1E1 Maigret Sets a Trap

Maigret faces mounting pressure from both his bosses and the media to apprehend a serial killer targeting women, all of whom share only one thing in common: their hair. Struggling to make headway, he devises a plan involving undercover female officers. This operation leads to a potential suspect, who is tightly controlled by both his wife and mother. However, when a sixth victim is discovered while the suspect is in custody, it undermines Maigret's theory, prompting his superiors to consider replacing him as the lead investigator on the case.
