The fishing boats are set to rescue the prisoners in a Dunkirk-style operation. However, a Nazi patrol boat spots them and causes trouble. The fishermen start to suspect that Marianne is working with the enemy. Sgt. Troy stands by her, insisting she's innocent, and he proves to be correct. Marianne manages to persuade the fishermen to join forces, enabling the prisoners to successfully flee from captivity.
