S1E4 High Jinx

Title: High Jinx Plot: The Japanese have introduced a newly enhanced armored Zero, flown by their top pilots. Pappy and his squadron are ordered to retreat if they encounter these formidable foes, which frustrates them all, especially Pappy. Determined to bolster his team, Pappy secures the assignment of ace pilot Doug Rafferty, recently returned to active duty. Jim, familiar with Doug from past missions, regards him as a jinx. Pappy, however, dismisses Jim’s superstitions and insists he refrain from spreading such talk among the squadron.
