Wesley’s innovative coffee vending machine initially enjoys great success, but after attempts to set it up at the ladies' Jumble Sale and the Golf Course, it ultimately malfunctions spectacularly, leaving Barry mortified. He’s eager to impress the captain, especially after Petal’s palm reading hinted at his need to stay in good graces. Earlier, Glenda's call interrupted just as the golf captain was preparing to take a shot, infuriating him further.
