After their irresponsible landlord neglects to fix issues at the clinic, Laverne threatens to organize a rent strike, which ultimately leads to the gang's eviction. Meanwhile, Sophia persuades Carol to take a break from baby Scotty, but Carol struggles to let him out of her sight, finding it hard to be away from him for even a moment.
