As they try to defuse the situation with Gabriel Wyath, a patient threatening to detonate a bomb at a mental hospital, Britten’s judgment is put to the test, impacting his other reality as well. In a separate storyline, Rex brings his girlfriend Emma to meet his father, while Bird expresses worry about Britten's distraction stemming from his recent sleepless nights.
