June is involved with a married man, which complicates her life. Meanwhile, Bob is anxious about the possibility of his tires being slashed overnight. Sgt. Peters, preoccupied with his own issues, dismisses Bob's concerns. Roache discusses a witness related to a case that resembles two murders in Essex, revealing that this witness has provided details about an assault on a young girl. The witness's dismissive demeanor irritates Roache, Lines, and June, but they manage to extract more information from him through persistence. In a lighter moment, Yorkie gets bumped into by an elderly woman.
