After the passing of Tod's father, he inherits a Corvette, and Buz, who had worked for Tod's dad, suggests they hit the road. However, their journey takes a dark turn when the Corvette breaks down in a small, hostile Mississippi town. The duo uncovers the town's troubling past, revealing it once housed a POW camp during World War II. They learn that the local boss had an escaped prisoner lynched after his own son was killed in action, and now he intends to silence Tod and Buz to protect the town's dark secret.
