Lucy feels the pressure of her abstinence lesson plan but is thrilled when Eric announces her promotion to Associate Pastor, where she will soon deliver her first sermon. Meanwhile, during his sessions with Dr. Gibson (guest-star David Piel), Simon reveals he's been using his romance with Georgia (guest-star Rheagan Wallace) as a way to distract himself from the guilt over a tragic car accident. Meanwhile, Ruthie develops a crush on a fellow detention student, Harry (guest-star Aaron Carter), a foster child living in a county facility, despite Martin's concerns about the relationship.
