As Matt and Sarah embark on their ER rotation, their experience starts on the wrong foot when they arrive late, drawing the ire of Dr. Norton, the supervising physician. Tensions rise between Matt and Sarah as Matt showcases his natural talent for the demanding environment, leading Sarah to accuse him of overshadowing her. However, Matt's confidence falters when he struggles to silence his ringing cell phone, leading to an embarrassing situation filled with family calls.
