Caitlin learns that the PTA is planning to expel Spike due to her pregnancy. Determined to take action, she writes an article for the school paper to highlight the issue. However, when Mr. Raditch declines to publish it, Caitlin opts for an underground newspaper instead. The entire school ends up with a copy, and her initiative receives widespread support. The only person upset by Caitlin's decision, aside from Mr. Raditch, is Spike herself. She confronts Caitlin, expressing her frustration over not being consulted before the article was released.
