The 1979 homicide of a schoolteacher, who was brutally stabbed in a forested area, is reinvestigated after her bloodied jacket is discovered hidden in a tree trunk, complete with a cheerful keychain in one of its pockets. This case was first examined by Jeffries during his early days as a detective.
