After Geoff's friend stumbles upon an extraordinary stone meteorite near the Mexican border, the group travels back to southern Arizona to explore this exciting discovery. They team up with local hunters Greg and Wendy, along with Dr. Laurence Garvie, an expert in meteorites from Arizona State University. A sample of the newly found meteorite undergoes a meticulous examination and classification at the ASU lab. Meanwhile, Geoff takes a break from the search to engage with a horned toad, and Steve experiences the challenges of mountain biking in the harsh Arizona desert.
