In Mexico, a fugitive takes refuge in a monastery, unaware that it coincides with the night the spirit of an Aztec warrior is rumored to haunt the premises. Later that evening, a murder is uncovered, forcing him to clear his name and demonstrate that he is innocent. He must convince everyone that the real culprit behind the crime is the vengeful ghost.
