Following Heather's ordeal, Lt. Casey struggles to cope with his new duties. Lt. Severide is tense, anxiously anticipating the next strike from the firehouse arsonist. At the same time, with Renee returning from her mother's, Severide realizes he must address his concerns about his potential fatherhood. Meanwhile, Mouch kicks off his bid for union president, while Shay and Dawson decide it’s time to broaden their social horizons and seek new experiences.
