S1E1 A Phone Call

Title: A Phone Call Plot: Sir Giles and Lady Maud Lynchwood find their marriage in disarray, with Maud yearning for an heir while Giles engages in an affair with the inept dominatrix, Mrs. Forthby. They decide to part ways, but in an effort to prevent Maud from keeping her family estate, Handyman Hall, Giles proposes its demolition for a new motorway project. At a town meeting, Maud, backed by her gardener Blott, rallies the community against the motorway, inciting chaos that results in property damage and her eventual arrest.
