S1E1 A World Full of Strangers

Marti Perkins, a law student at Lancer University, faces a major setback when she learns her scholarship has been revoked, thanks to her well-meaning but careless mother, Wanda, who failed to tell her. Short on funds and desperate to continue her education, Marti decides to try out for the Hellcats, Lancer’s renowned cheerleading squad, which offers a scholarship to its members. After an intense encounter with the overly enthusiastic captain, Savannah, Marti impresses coach Vanessa Lodge and makes the team. With her loyal friend Dan supporting her, Marti dives into the challenging cheerleading scene while also navigating her new living situation with Savannah, all while trying to avoid the envious Alice Verdura, who is upset that Marti has caught the attention of Alice's ex, Lewis Flynn.
