Meanwhile, after the Zitterkopf skidder rolls down a slope and snaps a cable, David embarks on a daring topping technique to create a makeshift yarding system as a storm approaches. Dreadknots explores a remote upriver location for new logs, while Swilley reconciles with Chapman, accepting Greg's apology and the chance to keep the profits from his first log that day. At the Rygaard home, a recovering Craig begins to consider Gabe and Jason's proposal of retirement, while Triack faces greater challenges as a log truck teeters off the road.
