Nikki, 50, and her mother Angela, 68, find themselves in a dire situation following a severe car accident. Meanwhile, Ellen, 53, shows up at the hospital with a severely swollen elbow after tripping in a grocery store. In another section of the emergency room, 7-year-old Jack is urgently admitted with an exposed fracture in his arm and a head injury resulting from a mishap at a wedding celebration.
