After putting in long hours and hoping to upgrade her starter home, April is on the hunt for a new house in the bustling downtown area. Thankfully, the Property Brothers step in to assist her in finding an affordable dream home that can be renovated within a tight timeline. With a budget that falls short of her hopes, Drew and Jonathan have a tough time convincing her about the potential of a fixer-upper. Ultimately, April faces a tough choice between two large renovation projects but grows frustrated when she can't finalize a deal right away. Drew works his magic, putting pressure on Jonathan, who has just five weeks to finish the renovations. When April makes an unexpected visit and sees her home in the midst of construction, she becomes anxious and starts micromanaging. Jonathan must push back to help restore her confidence in the process.
