Boris Becker: The Rise and Fall (2023)
S2E2 Compo Drops In
The group reminisces about the Co-op dance from the previous night, leaving Clegg feeling sheepish after Anita Pilsworth from Accounts walked him home. Compo laments his inability to foxtrot, opting to practice with a shop dummy, which frustrates Mr. Scrimshaw. Meanwhile, Wally struggles to impress Nora with his new motorbike, as it topples over every time he dismounts. Seymour announces his dream of becoming a fighter pilot when the war begins and asks Foggy for the necessary qualifications. Foggy jokes that spinning at high speed is one requirement, leading the lads to spin him in Mr. Scrimshaw's office chair until he becomes dizzy and unsteady, making Mr. Scrimshaw suspect he's been drinking. Later, at the cinema, Compo, lacking money, attempts to sneak in through a rooftop window but ends up dangling in front of the screen and is promptly caught by the commissionaire.
