Hoss stumbles upon a wrecked stagecoach and finds a young girl in shock. Once the Cartwrights help her recover, Hoss feels disheartened to learn that she has family and cannot remain with them. However, her uncle reveals himself as an adversary, and Hoss steps in to protect her from danger.
