S1E1 Episode One

After serving just five years of his life sentence for the murder of his abusive aunt and uncle, John Mercer is unexpectedly granted parole. Upon his release, he meets Lenny Douglas, a police officer officially retired due to health issues but secretly working as an operative determined to expose corrupt elements within both the criminal world and law enforcement. Mercer’s newfound freedom comes with conditions; he must leverage his Special Forces training to eliminate the untouchable criminal Jacob Gould, who orchestrated the assassination of a senior police officer. He’s placed in a council flat in south London alongside his former cellmate, Calum MacKenzie, whose relentless energy and obsession with girls, drugs, and music quickly irritate Mercer. However, Lenny views Calum as a crucial informant and skilled burglar.
