Martin receives an exciting opportunity when a former professor proposes that he host a public television show named "Book Beat," produced by college students for academic credit. After the show's initial broadcast, Martin finds himself the target of an overly zealous admirer, Nora, who bombards him with gifts like flowers. Things take a dangerous turn when Nora bursts onto the set, bringing a bomb with her.
