Martin Ellis finds himself imprisoned for the theft of $300,000. However, his wife uncovers crucial evidence that clears his name, leading to the arrest of the actual culprit, Charles Brewster. Despite being caught, Brewster is released on bail, but he soon ends up dead. In a shocking turn of events, Martin is then accused of his murder.
