In another storyline, George is suspicious that an anesthesiologist might be drinking on the job but hesitates to bring it up. Meanwhile, Alex is treating a former rival who has turned to self-harm, Izzie faces a patient who is literally clinging to his girlfriend, and Cristina appears to be struggling with flu-like symptoms.
