After the tunnel collapse, Sylvia and Mark successfully rescued Buki. Roisin informed Cassie that she had retracted her statement, which meant she would remain at Larkhall. Rhiannon requested drugs from Buki, but she was intimidated by the Julies. Meanwhile, Jim intensified his efforts to keep Karen and Mark apart by forbidding them from displaying any affection at work. Roisin approached Buki asking for "something to help her sleep." In a brutal act of revenge, the Julies scalded Rhiannon's boyfriend/pimp with boiling water in the visiting area. They were devastated to learn they would have been released soon, as the case against them fell apart without Virginia’s testimony.
