Recent advancements in drug development and transplant methods have stemmed from experiments involving “chimeras,” hybrids of human and animal embryos. However, beneath these seemingly positive objectives lurks a darker agenda: the creation of super soldiers that are part human, part ape, potentially leading to a real-life scenario reminiscent of Planet of the Apes. Determined to uncover the truth about these so-called “humanzees,” Jesse and his team launch an assault on the Yerkes Primate Research Center, hidden away in the Georgia woods, suspecting that these creatures may already exist among us.
