The five crime families of New York City maintain tight control over the American mob, thriving through countless schemes and a flourishing resort destination called Atlantic City. This gambling hub is managed by the Philadelphia mob, which is under the direct authority of New York. However, the assassination of the veteran Philadelphia don, Angelo Bruno, in 1980 marks the start of a violent new chapter in their rivalry.
