Clifford's family is thrown into turmoil when they receive a ransom note along with a mysterious message. The hints imply that Clifford has been kidnapped as payback against his grandfather. Meanwhile, Wisting's daughter, Line, learns that her former boyfriend, Tommy, is now involved with a dangerous crowd.
